Passenger di Journey Gong

Submission

I still remember the trips back home on every winter break during my college years in China, when the crowded passenger train moved slowly for three days and nights, from snow-covered Tibetan Plateau to the subtropical Sichuan Basin.
Looking outside the window, I wondered how people lived in the big cities and at the small villages that I had just passed by, how my life would have been if I had lived there, If I would miss something beautiful when I stopped looking.
This wonder took me to many road trips later on, only then I was able to capture the beauties I saw with a camera, and subsequently create the series Passenger.
All images were taken in moving vehicles, from 2010 and 2017.
