Fotografo e designer polacco, classe 1978, Tomasz Zaczeniuk è noto per i suoi sorprendenti fotomontaggi di matrice surrealista.
Le sue opere, costruite attraverso complesse elaborazioni digitali e l’assemblaggio di molteplici scatti fotografici, raffigurano mondi sommersi, scenari post-apocalittici degni del cinema di fantascienza e paesaggi impossibili popolati da animali fantastici e minuscole figure umane, protagoniste di racconti sospesi tra meraviglia e mistero.
For me, photography it’s the way to look at world around us, it’s the way to show and express our emotions, and finally it’s the way to remember some unique moments which were born somewhere in our imagination. Pure photography became quickly not enough for me. I was seeking for another way to show what is hiding in my imagination. You can say that reality was boring for me. So I’ve fallen in love with digital photography and postprocessing, photomanipulation.
